About

About us

Visit Hillbrush began its life in 2017, having been a dream of our Chairman, Philip Coward, to create a museum celebrating the history of brush making and a record of the family business, which is now celebrating its centenary.

We are the perfect venue for families looking for activities in Wiltshire, or travellers looking for a comfortable, friendly stop. Dogs are more than welcome on our beautiful south-facing terrace and we offer electric car charging, loyalty cards and gift vouchers.

Our unique museum covers everything from the fibres we use from around the world, some of the 1st automated brush making machines and photographs through the decades, including when we welcomed the The Queen in 1952. Our delightful shop sells Royal Warrant holder products, local gifts and produce, and even our own products manufactured here on site, also Royal Warrant approved.

It is our belief that passion is one of the most important aspects of business culture, which is why we ensure we use the finest ingredients or pick the best cakes or choose the most interesting and suitable products. We like to know that our customers and staff are happy and we make it our daily go
