Explore Hillbrush’s History

Hillbrush has been manufacturing brushware and cleaning equipment in Mere, Wiltshire, since 1922 and have been awarded a Royal Warrant for our products. In April 2017 we moved to a new purpose-built manufacturing site, still in Mere, alongside which lies our visitor centre, Visit Hillbrush. Our unique centre incorporates 3 core services - somewhere you can EAT, a boutique SHOP and a brush making museum to discover!

Our visitor center features a family history timeline, vintage machines, videos, and information on colour coding in brushes and the Royal Warrant. We have interactive screens for fun and learning.

We're a great stop for families and travellers, offering electric car charging, parking, loyalty cards, and gift vouchers.
