We are utterly thrilled to announce that Mr and Mrs Cherrett have helped us cross the 100,000 visitors mark, which is a massive milestone for Visit Hillbrush. They were awarded gift vouchers worth £50 and we are so happy for them as they are regulars of ours. We hope to see them again soon!
If you’re thinking of joining us for our Burns Night special event on Friday 25th January you will probably be interested to know what’s on the menu. Our chefs have put together a wonderful selection of Scottish-themed food. You can view or download a copy of the menu here: Burns Night Menu.
Due to the popularity of this event last year pre-booking is essential for 2019, so don’t miss out – book your table now! 01747 440077 or email email@example.com.
This no-bake granola recipe is utterly delicious, fairly quick and easy to make and does not use refined sugar. The bars make an excellent snack for work or when you’re on the go and they are super filling!
Time: approx. 20-30 mins to make (and an additional 1-2 hours to chill)
4 Cups of Assorted Nuts (we recommend cashews, walnuts and pecans)
Visit Hillbrush is proud to bring you another Burns Night for 2019! Last year we had a blast creating a wonderful Scottish themed menu and inviting you to join us for the celebration. Keep watching our blog or our Facebook page to see when this year’s Burns Night menu goes live. Don’t forget to book your place as soon as possible or you risk missing out!
Visit Hillbrush is starting to look festive now that we have our Christmas trees up in the restaurant, three in all! You might be wondering why we have hung small white brushes on our trees — we are a brush manufacturer, as well as a popular restaurant, museum and shop! Who would have thought that brushes could make such unique decorations?
(For anyone curious, the brushes are the Niche Brush that we make on site in our factory. You can find out more about them here.)
On Friday 19th October we are hosting a special themed evening: Mexican Night! This event features a delicious menu put together by our chefs especially for the evening. Each course is individually priced so you can pick what you want (or go full three-course if you wish!).
This Friday 21st September we are hosting Greek Night at Visit Hillbrush! The evening will feature a special, authentic menu hand-crafted by our chef: a delicious three-course sharing platter (see below). The event starts at 6pm and pre-booking is advised. £20 per head.
Lavender Blue Bakery have been supplying Visit Hillbrush ever since we opened in April last year, and their delicious baked goods are extremely popular with our customers. Based in Gillingham, Dorset, Lavender Blue Bakery is an award-winning bakery that started 12 years ago. They make everything from scratch as you would at home, only they make it in large quantities!
It’s not too late to book your place at our wonderful Hog Roast, taking place this Friday 17th August! Our lovely south-facing terrace will be open for the evening with our expert chefs manning the hog roast while singer and songwriter Ginnie Breakwell provides live music. You can find out more about this event at our Facebook event page.
